Dr. Martin Akerson
Doctor Martin Akerson is the President of Women’s Institute for Pelvic Health. A 1983 graduate of the Mayo Medical School, he completed a Urogynecology Fellowship at Becker’s Hospital in 1994. He helped to open Danforth Medical Centre in Canada. Dr. Martin Akerson is a real specialist in urodynamics. 90% of the urodynamics performed in the country use his technology in diagnosing urinary problems. Doctor Akerson is one of the first professionals in laparoscopic hysterectomy – he is a Professor of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences/UAMS College of Medicine in Arkansas.
Dr. Ann Diener
Doctor Ann Diener is the Medical Director of Women’s Institute for Pelvic Health. She is an assistant professor of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Dr. Ann Diener has the certificates for the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy that confirms her skills in minimally invasive laparoscopy. Doctor Diener received her medical degree at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She also completed training in University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in Kansas in 2009. She was previously the head of the first American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists in minimally invasive surgery in Ontario – Urgent Care Centre.
Allison Alexander
Allison Alexander is a women’s health specialist who graduated from the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. She has worked since 1991 in Women’s Institute for Pelvic Health. She is a member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, an expert in urogynecology colposcopy. She is a clinical preceptor for UCSF School of Medicine.

Brittany Gamble
Meet Brittany Gamble, a surgery scheduler. She has been working at our company for more than 8 years. Brittany is an expert in various areas of our practice. She will help you get scheduled for surgery. In addition, she will guide you in controlling your urinary dysfunction.
Delfina Aiello
Our office manager Delfina Aiello will help you with any of your needs and concerns. Patient care is her main goal, she strives to create the best experience for each client. Delfina is a member of the Syrian American Medical Society Foundation and has a Bachelors Degree in Health Science. She will answer any of your questions so feel free to contact her.
Catherine Gardner
Catherine Gardner is our patient care representative and will be glad to assist you when you visit our company or call us. Catherine will assist with your appointment and will direct your call to the correct department. She is a skilled technician with perfect communication skills and great care for all patients.
Paula Robinson
Paula is the billing expert at Women’s Institute for Pelvic Health. If you have any billing problems, she will be happy to assist you. Paula is very interested in the resolution of your problem.
Helen Addison and Sara Lopez
Helen Addison and Sara Lopez are patient care technicians who are ready to help coordinate your health care. They will help you get prepared in the room for your visit. They will contact you to inform about results and referrals.
